Dr Doom, : Lets call him a bit of a hybrid Mego style figure...

I started out months ago...but just couldn't seem to get the look right...tried CTVT's robot man parts...no...
the head I chose had no neck....
    Through trials and many errors....

    I present Dr Doom!

Doom utilizes a type S torso, waist, and legs.
arms are from Diamond selects Dr Doom figure, the types S torso arm ports had to be dremeled down in order to fit the pegs.
Head is a cast head with the face of Toybiz Famous Covers Doom's face glued onto it. I hollowed out the face hoping to make a mask of it, but it just didn't work..

His gold buttons are two thumbtacks with the points clipped off and a chain glued on.

His under body suit is from a Star trek guy....dude with the gold helmet. The rest of the clothing are from CTVT.

It was certainly worth the extra trouble! I think it looks... well, fantastic!

Mine is similar. I used the FC Doom head as a direct transplant. CTVT chain mail suit and tunic. FC hooded cape. Gloves and boots were acetone shrunk FC pieces. They were originally getting that slimy texture where the plasticizer was leaching out of the materials but the acetone seemed to stabilize them.
