Immediately recognizable by their woolly facial hair which is highly uncharacteristic of a Martian, the Thoggorth have kept settlements throughout the Arabia Terra region for thousands of years. The Thoggorth are a peaceful, practical, and mechanically brilliant society. Some of the most significant innovations ever achieved by Martians have been led by the Thoggorth including stabilization of the volatile element vylis into a synthetic compound for use in the manufacture of extravehicular mobility gear and scanning/communication units capable of reaching beyond 10^22 Hz / Theta-wave binaural beats. Thul T’buken was a bright, respected technician advancing multiple important infrastructure improvements across his home region. During the “Spring of Systems”, House High Saint Zaytonus- Tayren formally bid for Thul to join him on Terra Sirenum and help develop a technology for the efficient mining of star energy. Thul agreed, traveled to Sirenum, and became quite close with Tayren.
Thul’s loyalty did not pay off. When Countess Tayre usurped her father’s crown, she, with the help of her potent cache of Crocoite crystal, brainwashed Thul into an unquestioning ally, a terrifying protector, and a lethal innovator of violence. It was Thul who masterminded the intense confusion and paranoia among diplomats that facilitated Tayre’s Promethei Incursion.
But perhaps his most deadly conception lies in his titanium metamorph tendril. The appendage was constructed to include a seemingly limitless maximum reach, a poisonous perchlorate-loaded stinger, and even a cerebral connection with its creator allowing T’Buken to command the coil entirely with his mind.
