    Mysterio!

Here's my custom of the beloved fishbowl-headed c-list Spidey villian...
    MYSTERIO!

Wasn't so much stoked about the outdoors picture, so I moved the operation indoors.

This one is MYSTERIO TRIUMPHANT! Or at least MYSTERIO TRIUMPHANT (for about ten seconds before Spidey breaks the chains and uh, "cracks Mysterio's fishbowl" for the umpity umpth time.

This is Mysterio hatching his next evil scheme. "Maybe I'll shoot myself in the head just to show Daredevil how hardcore I am."

This probably seems pretty random, but I didn't have any good boots for him, so I actually made a mold of a set of 10" JLU Superman feet. When I screwed them onto the bottom of the legs, I couldn't get them straight so that he could stand up. I used some 3/16 gauge aluminum armature wire. It gives the ankles the ever-so-slightest bit of flexibility---at least enough to get him to stand up.

    As alwasys, thanks for looking!

First of all. Let me say, this is very creative and original.

I love how you take the Magneto cape and incorporate it into a new figure. Then you figure out how to make a clear plastic dome look cool without painting it white, you stuff it with some kind of cotton to create the illusion that there is smoke of magic fog inside.

Good job!!!! Definitively, custom of the week here on my FB site!

Very cool! He's one of my fave Spidey villains.

I this is a tough custom to pull off, as it has some tough challenges. I think you handled them really well, and I really like how he turned out. Very Nice.

One of the more creative solutions to Mysterio's head. I like it. Very well done. The whole piece is very well executed. Great job!

My son wants me to make him a custom Mysterio and I was wondering about how to do the head and the gauntlets. Now that I've seen this awesome custom, I can do my own version while semi-ripping off all of your good ideas.

Cool, neat idea on the f/x inside the dome.

For anyone who is interested: I used regular cotton swab stuff for the smoke, but I used (this was my wife's idea) chalk to color it blue/gray/black. paint or anything wet would make a mess, so the chalk was the perfect thing to use.
