    The Justice Society of America

Someone was asking to see what I have completed as far as the original JSA from World War II or Earth 2 or wherever you want them to be.

My daughter is a big fan of the JSA. I used to read her All Star Squadron comic books when she was little and she has been crazy about assembling this whole team. We are missing a few people but we wanted to focus on the "key players." Her last mission to complete this set is Sandman. I am going to put together a Sandman and then I am officially done with this lineup and moving back to the Marvel teams. I know somebody on here has a nice Sandman gasmask head for me to purchase.

Once again, I make these figures for a ten year old girl. I don't make them to look perfect or if they were to literally jump out of a comicbook. If you think they suck then that is your problem not mine I could care less.

Here they are. Yes, I know Vigilante was not a member. These heroes have been put together by me through all the characters my daughter and I have plotted and organized for many years now. The Starman is not mine. I bought it from some dude that said it was a Brian Leitner suit.

I am not sure what is wrong with this Wonder Woman head. I don't want to paint it. She has some kind of dark skin tan. If anyone has an extra one they'd want to sell my daughter she'd appreciate it. This head looks like she is an native but it will do for now...

We through in a "touch of gray" and that seemed to work but the head is just way too dark. Not sure what is wrong with it.

Yes, once again Vigilante is not a member. Use your imagination. He is hanging out with them. My daughter has been crazy about him since his appearance on the JLU.

I started a new generation of the JSA. Not sure if I am going to make duplicates of Green Lantern and Flash. Who knows.
Stargirl, Atom Smasher and Powergirl (Brian Leitner suit)

The Earth 2 adult Robin I made for ****s and giggles. Suit was a silkscreen designed by Austin Hough

This is a new Dr. Fate I created to represent his original look. I took apart the Hector Hall Dr. Fate after realizing he isn't coming back. All that work and I loved that Egyptian collar, oh well.....here is the original, Kent Nelson.

When my daughter puts the JSA away they go on this shelf. This is just one of many shelves in the room. This shelf here is for JSA members and various DC heroes. I put this in here to give you a whole shot of all the JSA when they are "put away." We got like six shelves but this is a thread for the JSA. I'll post the other shelves in the picture area if any cares...

It looks like she might have darkened due to age or an EXTREME amount of dirt from some kid's fingers.

I'd be loathe to clean her up to, truth be told. You might be better off getting a vintage head from someone on the board. I have two of them, but one is completely bald, and the other one I am not going to part with as I need a WW for my collection.

I've seen that kind of darkening happen to vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. Believe it or not, they sell better with the marks of age upon them, rather than looking newer than new.

It's a great, GREAT looking collection though. Your daughter is lucky to have a dad like you; not many dads will go that far to please their kid.

Dude, I appreciate you and your Daughter's passion for the old school stuff. Love the JSA and I just finished a complete run of All-Star Squadron, so this hits home fer me. Glad to see some love for it.

      Awesome stuff, Cat!

Oh, yeah....Vigilante was very much part of the All-Star Squadron and was on the cover of All-Star Squadron #1 as was Plastic Man (who is typically associated with the Justice League and not the JSA, but he was an All-Star Squadron member.)

I think they are AWESOME!!! One of the most AWESOME things about them is you made them for your daughter. Made only more awesome by the fact that she is a true mego fan, as we were as kids!

I commend you my Mego brother!

        Keep up the great work!

        For the love of Mego's

Wow, that is just about complete. Yeah you need a Sandman and if you want to be picky, Johnny Thunder and Black Canary, then you'll have all 40's members. now try to get all the current new members and you'll never finish this for her. why would you wanna go back to marvel characters anyway? she needs more Teen Titans!

Great looking bunch of figures. I especially like Catman's suit and removeable mask, and
                    Dr Fate.
