    Enterprise engeneer set

I've just finished the section of the engenering where we use to see them climb a sort of ladder, this is my own version of it (custom)

Hre's the entrance to that section:

Al, I love it how you take stuff most people throw out or toss away and fix up like styrofoam box inserts and utilize them into something. Crafty.

You hit it right on the nose my friend... That's exactly what I do,in fact
all the "sets" are made in the same fashion.I also use old paint leftovers
I also use some bits and pieces of various plastic devices to enhance the whole scene...The only part of the engenering left is the section where the
"dilithium" chrystals are;this will come later.
Here's the auxiliary room display, again custom:

      Left part of that section:

Right part of that same section:

        Cool stuff Al!

Your sets always remind me of the old Gold Key Trek comics!

Yep,that's a good observation...I tried to put a sort of "retro" look to it
One thing I noticed is that these sets look better "in person" than in pictures...it seems that we only see the small imperfections on these shots!!!
But when you see the whole design,it's less visible.

Yep,I guess the trick is to add up little by little as you progress...sometimes even taking down an entire wall to "rebuild" and "reshape"...lot of this stuff (if not all ) comes from the trash...

I recall an episode of Star Trek TOS starting with a "probe" beamed aboard the Enterprise at the beginning of an episode...does anyone know the title and what
the probe name was? (Not Nomad,a very early episode)
