I found a piece of material that I used on my Mego figures...it looks great...
LMK what you think.It's not made of rubber but a sort of cloth and it got a sort of chain pattern that goes well with romulans...


I tried it on my Romulan little army and it looks fine!
Here's the final results...


By the way,I've got more of this piece of cloth

Good observation...the color is right also...just have to place it under that black belt and 'voilą'...
I used a blue phaser turned to green for the figure in the middle...blue for Star Fleet,red for Klingons and Green should have been
made for Romulans...!!!

That stuff works great! It's sold as an aid to opening tight jars.... and I think it comes in a few colours.

You're right,it must be it.Actualy I found that piece of cloth in the recuperation It gives some 'relief' to the figure clothes.
