Spaaaaaaaace Ghooooooooosssst!
I am still been busy with the band but I keep popping in here and I finally got the custom bug back once again thanks to my daughter.
My daughter has been after me for years to make this guy. He doesn't really fit my Dc/Marvel criteria but after I got my hands on a naked Mego Batman at a flea market I decided to try out some of my experimental custom ideas on the figure.

I successfully created my first body suit made from fabric I got from the local fabric store. I am not sure what it is called but it felt like the stuff on the regular mego dolls. Cutting the pattern and getting it together took some patience but I did it.
Then I cropped the ears off the Batman head, filled in the holes with sculpty, painted with black paint and sealed it with mod podge so it wouldn't crack and it would be mailable.
I am sure the majority of you can see how I made the belt. I don't think that really needs explaining.
Last task, I have been playing with some interesting chemical experiments and I created my first set of gauntlets for this guy that came out pretty smooth. I took from the school of Wesley at Classic Plastik (probably not the same stuff he uses) but I think I might be able to start making up my own set of stuff soon.
