I did not commission the head, myself. cdhall got things rolling... via this thread on the forums: Custom Trek Heads. I just followed the thread and purchased the end product from Ignacio's online store. So it was a little different experience then for his normal custom, I suspect.
It was a bit of a slow process "sculpting" the head, understandably. But Ignacio communicated to the forum regularly, and posted screenshots of the virtual work in progress... which was very cool. He shipped everything in a timely fashion, and sent me an email with the tracking number.
The head was beautiful. Honestly, I don't think my paint job does it justice. Lots of fine detail. Wonderful likeness. My only minor complaint is with the neck plug. It needed to be trimmed down quite a bit to fit... but really, that's just a nit.
So overall I am very pleased. Ignacio seems like a real decent guy. He did the head on spec for the MegoMuseum community, sold it for a very reasonable price, and had a great attitude during the entire process. I think he's definitely someone worth talking to about your red shirt project (which sounds very cool, btw).Comment

ALL Resin Neckplugs need to be trimed down to fit the Torso's. Original Mego Bodies are the best....the HARD Plastic ones, are the most difficult to attach.
