SEARCH Lockwood figure and probe control set

I am on an email list for a while for a little remembered early 70's Sci-fi show called Search.

Imagine my surprise last week, when out of the blue, one of the members posted a mock commercial of his Mego custom of Lockwood. It was well done. I told him he ought to join up here. And he said he did but hasn't seem to post about it here yet.

So, here is his you tube commercial and if you see this, speak up, my friend, we would love to hear from you.

Dont recall the show, but that commercial is great. Reminds me of almost any seventies action figure commercial. Even has the requisite "falling rocks" scene!

    Great Stuff!

I saw that movie about 12 times when I was a kid. I don't remember anything but that I liked it, and it was a jewel hunt by a guy in a black sweater with a necklace. I'll post on the guy's Lockwood thread. He just posted and I followed your reply over here.

I thought it was Gary Lockwood from Trek and I was going to tell him someone here has made that custom... I thought he was "searching" for Gary Lockwood.

WOW... I thought I was the only one that remembered that show (there must be SOME benefit for those about to turn 5-0).

Nice to see an obscure SF TV series remembered.... (wonder if it will ever get released on DVD??)

Wow, thanks for sharing that Mike, I love obscure TV customs in general but this takes the cake, I hope this guy does more. I'd love to see his take on " A Man Called Sloane".

The equipment is fantastic. I can imagine enjoying it as a kid, sliding the different screens into the computer monitor.

Like others, I'm not familiar with the show, but the ad feels right out of the 70's. Masterful stuff!

Wow... esoteric... sure cool to know that someone remembers that show. I can remember "playing" that show with G.I. Joe and Big Jim!

I was too young to stay up that late in order to watch it, but it sounds exciting.

Pity it only lasted one year.

I remember what I thought was a 1.5 or 2hr movie. It came on Sunday AM about 6 or 8 times in 3 months one year. My sister and I saw it several times because it was the only thing on TV. But the IMDB says it was a series and doesn't mention a movie. Maybe we saw the same episode over and over. Odd.
