I have 3 types of material for Tricorder straps. I'll post a pic later. I have leather I think, craft lace and I think I have 1/8" elastic and/or some thin round shoelaces which may all work well. I'll see tonight.

Thanks. I will want at least 5 Chairs and 5 Tricorders. I can't recall how many people the Transporter held for a Landing Party.... was it 6, 7 or 8, I think I'm close.

    It's 6.

But Kirk usually goes and I think it was odd to have more than 2-3 Tricorders in a Landing Party, but I will still want 4-6 for my purposes.

Seeing this, if you can do colors... can you do a communicator? Black brick with a gold top, it can be shut...if you can do colors I'll look forward to that since you seem to like my suggestions.

(Edited to link to smaller transporter photo)

Get some of that craft lace they sell for kid's bead projects to use for the tricorder straps.

I'm still fiddling with the design. I based the size according the the Starfeet Technical manual, but I may make it a tiny bit bigger so it looks right. I'm also looking for some thin black plastic cord instead of the fabric thread shown in the picture. These will be cheap to make, so I won't charge very much.

I see them on your site but no price. Do me a favor and offer a bundle with a chair.

Or 5 Tricorders and 5 Chairs. I'm going to need at least 4 or 5 of both... as soon as I can.

PM or email if you have to. THANK YOU!

I went nuts on another thread where I just saw this and I see it is on the lasermego site as of 54mins ago so I did find out about this quickly, but WORDS FAIL ME!

To be fair, Mego probably couldn't do something like this 30yrs ago, I'm not hating on them, even if I think they could have done better, but God Bless Mego.

I can't describe my amazement. This is the most awesome Trek Mego accessory/repro think I think I've ever seen, head sculpts included.

I have to get some. You need to go get a deal to offer a co-branded Credit card right now! To issue from LaserMego!

I have to go make some money. I'll be back.

    LOL

How about a better Tricorder? With small holes for a real strap.

I think the Mego Tricorder is too small. And it is blue. I am thinking a larger black shape would be easy and sufficient. Should it be twice as big? I don't know.

So there is another idea for you. I guess it may not be very practical unless you etc a bit of detail on it.
    You mean something like this?

Lemme guess, Thunderbolt; you're doing a Professor X custom and a Barbie wheelchair just ain't gonna cut it for you?

I'd love to see a working recliner in 1:9 scale or a sleeper sofa.

THAT would be a bear to figure out because of all the small parts.
