I don't consider this a master mego piece. Just another character I fiddled with on a new Mego body I have designed for characters that are bigger then 6'8 or more with big muscles. It is combined with a Famous Cover torso and beefed up Mego legs. Regular megos are 8 inches. This new hybrid Thor comes in at a 8 1/2 inches (without the helmet).
I still have a regular Mego Thor but I do not like him. My daughter (who is now ten) said that he looks like a transvestite.
After watching the new Thor cartoon where he battles Hulk my daughter has taken an interest in Thor and his fellow Asgardians. So making Thor appear to be his 6'8" massive size was a task.
I always felt the Mego head Thor had looked pretty cool. I had to adjust his hair to look more masculine. The flippy curly ends was an odd thing for someone to do to a man's head but Paul Clark gave me an idea (awhile ago) on how to do that awhile ago when he created a Thor head by gluing layers of blonde hair to a rezin bald Thor head and carefully placing the helmet on to make it appear that he has a full set of hair. Brilliant idea! I tackled the task and made a cool Thor head.
I made the boots by restyling them to fit the pumped up Mego legs. The hammer I redid from the Famous Covers one and fixed so it wasn't so ridiculously long and sort of resembled the comic book version. It still feels too big but now the Mego hammer looks too small so I had to make a choice....
Here is Thor on the 8 1/2 inch Mego/FC hybrid body of mine!

Thor standing next to my new Hercules I made using this same style of Mego/FC hybriding.

When standing next to a few of his Avengers, you can see that this is how Thor should look compared to his Avengers. He has the mass but is about 1/2 taller (without his helmet) compared to the others.
