The Swamp Thing
I was debating on posting this guy here. He isn't really "MEGO". A lot of people I noticed when they made this guy they made a green body suit and glued some leaves to him and made a cool looking Mego version of him.
I wanted to capture Swamp Thing as a big plant-like veggie looking creature that is very big sized compared to a 8 inch Mego figure in scale.
So I used a Famous Covers Sabretooth body. The head is mine. I sculpted him from scratch and spent many hours trying to get it to look right.
The fake vegetation on his body is from me traveling to many Pet stores and craft stores to find fake leaves and fake moss that goes in fish and snake tanks.
The pain staking hours of painting him and adding vines and leaves to him took about two weeks. My girlfriend is a big Swamp Thing fan and this character was her idea. She helped out in the early stages of when I was creating the base color for his massive body.
