Black Canary!!!!

Been wanting to redo this one for a bit, ever since I picked up a Kelli Bundy head from CTVT. I'd hear that it was too big for Mego and its true. perfect for 9 inch size and a really nice sculpt and paint job, didn't even want to try and match flesh tones, its a lot closer in person.


The boots, glove tops and bodysuit are all Halloween pleather from Joann's, fishnets are fabric from there, too. a pain in the hinder to sew. Jacket was Barbie I think. I recycled it from my old BC custom.

She looks great. Head appears to be floating above her jacket. I guess she just has a Giraffe neck.

You know me T-bolt---although your more "post-apocalyptic" vision of
the characters are a blast and a respected and unique way to go---
at first glance I'm more of a traditionalist and Canary here leans more
towards that.

I really like this pass at the Black Canary character---and I think that
the Kelly facial features are cute enough to be Dinah yet not overly so--
----CTVT's failures on the Applegate sculpt are your advatanges there
(I think Applegate's Kelly is cutsier in reality than that sculpt).

Really nice figure, man.

Hotfoot-she has a choker collar on, I guess all the black is blending together in the pics.
Huedell- I just didn't see any other way to go for Dinah, so on model she is. I got two of the heads and am thinking with some paint adjustments she'll make a good Enchantress, too.

Nice custom. Like the "Members Only" Jacket too. She probably says that when she steps on crotches.
