    New-ish Monster Custom-The Wolf Man!

This figure was the prize of a fund-raising drive done to generate cash for the Universal Monster Army Traveling Toy Museum-- the traveling exhibit sponsored by another group I belong to called the UMA.

A monster-collecting fiend of mine named Richard Olsen won the figure and took these photos. I love photo essays of Megos cavorting so I wanted to show them here.

BTW, this wasn't any Wolf Man, this was the Wolfman specifically as he appeared in the film "House of Frankenstein." Jack Pierce's make-up for the monster evolved over the course of the series and it reached its peak, I think, with this film.

    Thanks for looking,

    Matt

He goes on every trip I do.
That is so interesting , because, believe it or not, I do the same thing. I am not kidding. Not every night, like you.. but I suffer from chronic insomnia, and one of the ways I fall asleep is to put on late night movies. And my wife, after years of seeing me do this, rather astutely said: "If you're going to do that, why don't you put on movies you actually like?"

So now whenever I can't sleep I put on "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman" or, my other favorite, "Topper Returns." It is not that I find those movies boring by any means. It is that I love them so much, they are a great comfort. I can fall asleep to them running in my head. With FMTW, I usually doze off right around the time Larry changes after jumping off the wagon and running away from Maleva. It doesn't work as well as Ambien, mind you, but it is comforting.

That's so funny. I thought I was the only one who did that.

              Matt

p.s.: I also travel with my customs. Though, with me, I usually take my 12" "Curse of the Werewolf" figure. You can see a pic of it in the background here of this pic taken by my friend Andy Williams
