Astro City's THE HANGED MAN
So this is my custom of the very cool Astro City character...The Hanged Man. He kind of lurks around the dark, scary city intervening silenty in supernatural affairs.
I mean, he is the coolest character, but probably not the most involved custom. I was intimidated because of the Charlie Flatt/Flatt Earth version, with its licensed coolness, but how can you go wrong with a black suit, a brown bag over your head and a little rope.
Funny story---The body is just the smaller Famous Covers body, but the head started out as a FC Falcon head which I sanded the mask off (clumsily) to make a Brother Voodoo, when that didn't work, I painted it (clumsily) to make a flash head, which got smashed trying to boil/pop it back on the body, so I used it as "filler" under the hood. It is a nightmare of plastic under that bag.
