Cyrano Jones - Trouble With Tribbles

I had a CTVT Howard Cunningham head that I was going to use for a Harry Mudd custom (I, Mudd episode), but as I was contemplating how to modify it, I realized it was almost a dead ringer for Cyrano Jones in The Trouble with Tribbles.

Parts: CTVT Mr. C head (resculpted hair and new paint job); CTVT fat body with legs replaced with Trek boot legs; hand sewn jacket and undershirt with material designed and printed from PhotoShop; pants had sewn; Tribbles are pom poms I found at WalMart.

That is Incredible.. You couldn't have gotten it any better..!!!

For Tribbles, I've used the ones from the Playmates Koloth set, plus his Klingon disrupter which looks cool on the 8" Klingon figures.

    Primo, Primo, Primo ~

Brilliant. I didn't even need to see the life photo to know you had got that absolutely spot on.

Big, big fan of the job you just pulled off.

I am not a TOS watcher persay but have followed Kirk's crew throughout
my childhood when TOS was newly in big syndication cycles and then
as an adult through the "Kirk crew" movies---basically a big respect for
            the "classic" Trek history.

NOTHING screams classic Trek to me like the
            "Joan Collins/Time Travel" episode
            and ESPECIALLY the TRIBBLES episode.

CYRANO JONES? He's simply the TOP guy I'd like a line extension of after
Sulu and Chekov---and now that EMCE is making those two---
MUDD is that much more exciting of a custom figure to contemplate.

All this wouldn't mean much if I wasn't so impressed by your take Mike---
it made me want to babble on. Maybe Doc/EMCE will consider something like
this JONES soon----until then----this is a great custom offering dude.

            Keep up the great work.

Absolutely well done. That head couldn't be better. Hell, it looks more like him than Mr. C. & nice work on the jacket. Very sharp.

A perfect likeness! And the suit is fantastic. I'm really impressed you got that from a Mr. C head.
