    The Fantastic Four!

This time around with the FF I wanted to do something more in tune with the B movies and serials of the 50's. The big inspiration for the costumes was a movie called The Unknown World.

Its a group of adventurers/scientists tunneling into the Earth looking for a place to flee in the event of a nuclear war. They basically wore hooded pullover jackets, fatigue pants and boots. along with gun belts and .45's. That matched up pretty well with what the FF wore in the first encounter with the Mole Man in FF number 1.

Reed and Sue got the basic costumes, I redid the gloves on the Hasbro Reed and added some shrunk down 1/6th boots. Sue was a FC Spider-Girl with new hair complete with pony tail. All four have emblems courtesy of Bobbait.

For Johnny, I went with more of a containment type suit modeled after the space suits of the 50's movies. Lots of hot glue went into trying to capture the look of the early Torch appearances. Gloves and boots courtesy of Castaway and body by CTVT.

Ben I gave the more casual look of jeans, sneakers and the standard issue FF hoodie.

Has a real Challengers of the Unknown feel to them. They look "fantastic"? Excellent job on the Human Torch !!!

^^ The pants were set aside for the Challs, but I just can't seem to get to them.

They all look really cool. The flame effects on torch really work nicely. You have a great style. Well done.

Sweet! For an earlier look though I'm surprised you didn't go with the Lumpy Rutherford version of the Thing.

I thought about it, but I really like that Thing, its recycled from my earlier attempt.

That actually looks like what the FF might have looked like in a 50's B movie! Great Job T-Bolt!!!
