Couple of you wanted to see my Venom. I finally got the time to take a picture of him.
I didn't want to make Venom wearing a cloth suit. I wanted to capture a wet, sticky and slimy black look to create the illusion of the symbolite.
For the body, I wanted him to be bigger then a regular mego. I didn't want to bulk him up too much because he would look strange standing next to my Hulk. So grabbed one of those 9" Star Trek dolls you can get off eBay for about a dime a dozen in a parts lot and I bulked up the body with sculpey.
So, I used shiny black fabric paint. When it dries it looks wet. I clumped it on in several sections to make it look like it had texture.
Yeah, I know. It sucks. I mainly put it together for my daughter who kept asking about a Venom figure for her Megos.
