Very nice. How did you attach the wings? My next project is Hawkman and Hawkgirl and I have been looking for decent wings.

Great job--the best Hawkman I think I've seen here. I like the traditional elements, kicked up a notch.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I ran a piece of 1\8" Styrene rod straight thru the body and left about 5|16" sticking out the back. I drilled 1|8" holes in the wings and slipped them onto the pegs. The down side is you have to paint the front where the Styrene rods show up. It's fairly solid, but a kid would thrash it in no time. This one is posable but for display only. I know some people use screws as well. These wings from Customslab are really great. Not too heavy, and well detailed."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

I LOVE IT!
It's even better than the comic book version.
I agree about the clash of grey wings and an orange colored helmet.
Not to mention green tights and red/yellow boots.
It's evident that the creators never really thought about an effective color scheme, except for BRIGHT colors.
Birds come in all sorts of color variations, and they kinda missed the boat on their research.
Putting those rods into the body must have been heck to do.
Are you going to do a Hawkgirl as well?JediJaidaComment

Well, Im late to the party as usual. Treemendious! yeah Im making up spelling now. Honestly He's a beaut of a custom. The wings (again with the wings) do look like you ripped'em off a bird and attached them to a figure. nearly too lifelike for a toy!!!Comment
