    Stark Industries presents....IRON MAN!!!!!!

OK, this is more an excercise in model building than mego inspired customizing, but I wanted a big clunky grey Iron Man for my Avengers lineup. Well, he does have a little fabric involved. He's built up on one of those Urban Icons fashion doll bodies with lots and lots of kitbashed Gundam parts. The hands and forearms are based off what I did for Hellboy's Right Hand of Doom. Forearms pvc 3/4 inch threaded fitting, hands are sculpy with wired craft foam fingers.

He has a light up chest beam and a light up repulsar ray prototype strapped to the left arm. both are mini flaslights found at Dollar Tree or General I forgot which. My thinking with this is that Stark was always treating the suit as a WIP, adding stuff as he came up with it.

The big clunky rifle is a Sigma 6 weapon, it just looked like it work for a prototype Stark Industries weapon. I decided to cover up the upper arms and legs with cloth as I didn't want the knee and elbow joints visible since it would ruin the man in a suit look for it.

Back shot to show off the jet pack and the rest of the skirt. There are more jets under the back of the skirt.

Really cool custom - I could see a new Iron Man mini-series based on this figure...

Yep, I forgot to mention that. It actually has a lot of detail in the sculpt.
