The Man of Steel

I'm a sucker for Superman figures, so I decided to try my own styling a bit. I used a BEEFY body and a royal blue suit. This is my second hand-sewn suit, so keep that in mind. Head is from Austin and the emblem is from thatbatmanguy. THe boots are a temporary prototype till I get the real thing. I eventually plan on doing other versions of Supes based on different eras. I think this one most closely resembles Ed McGuiness or possible an eight inch version of the 1984 SUper Powers figure. I still haven't perfected my cut lines for the neck and head joint. When I view these pics, all I see are imperfections. I'll get better sometime.

Really like this head, All you need to do is shorten the neck on the body part so it doesn't show so much. Its fun watching your evoloving custom style.

Great adaptation of the man of steel. I'm a big Superman fan and i can't get enough of all these Beautiful customs found here at the Museum of the big Blue guy. Kudos to you my friend.

I agree with Tbolt about the neck, though. Since there is a nice sized neck already on the body, you should sand/Dremel down the neck on the head a little.
