Ben Cooper Halloween Batman

That is a great custom Anthony. I did something similar by having a little kid dressed up in a Ben Cooper costume, to be scared by all my monsters. The only change I would make to yours would be to have the mask be a half-mask with rubber-band!

Thanks guys! It was a fun project and pretty much matched my original vision and it's always cool when that happens.

You have to tell us how you came up with this idea. It's so brilliant and I'm afraid I can see about a billion knock-off variations on this. You may have created a whole new genre of custom.

I found it's best not to question the voices in my head that tell me to do these things...I just go along for the ride and hope that they steer me in the right direction.


And yeah I did think of making the head an actual mask. But the more I thought about it I decided this was one of the many alternate world versions of Batman you might see, instead of a kid in a costume.

As kids we wanted to be these heroes at Halloween and wore these costumes even though we KNEW they were inaccurate. (The fact that his name is on his chest AND his head is redundantly stupid ) So wouldn't it be bizarre if there was a Batman who actually dressed like this...right down to the shoes?

And as Scott A predicted I do plan to do at least a Supes with the red Lone Ranger mask . You can't see it in the pics but he's on the side of the box with Batman ala the Mego side squares.

That is hands down the coolest custom iI have ever seen ! If you would like, I could try vacuforming some thin styrene over a Mego bats head to make a Mego Ben Cooper mask out of the same stuff the originals were made out of.
I'll give it a try and see what happens.
