    Jor-El

This is an 8" version of Mego's 12" Jor-el. I liked how Mego used a Marlon Brando head sculpt with a comic version suit, and I have wanted to make my own for quite some time. I took some liberties with the suit design to fit in more with the comic. I also made an emblem that combines the chest emblem on the comic with the S-crest on Jor-el's robe in the movie.

Parts used: Reproheads shrunken Jor-el head; CTVT green suits - modified to make a tunic and pants; CTVT red shorts; CTVT yellow belt and red boots; emblem printed on fabric.

    Looking for:

That is really great. I like your chest emblem idea. How did you attach the shoulder flairs?

Love it. I wish the shorts and boots matched, but it's fully Megoriffic. I'm so glad Austin made that head available, it's a good one.

Great figure, very clean and tight. Interesting mix of movie and comic, and I think that's what makes it special. Now, as far as the boots go, if you have a Hobby Lobby or other store that sells model kits, look for a Testors spray paint, I think it's brick red. Should match up the boots to the shorts almost exactly. Jor-El has never looked so good.
