    Blue Beetle redress

I picked up some cotton-y finish lycra in royal blue a few weeks ago and wanted to test it out on something. I decided Ted Kord needed to ditch the baby blue and go with a simpler 40's or 50's action serial union suit. The blue of the suit is a bit darker than it looks. Basically he's recycled from my last one and I moved the Beetle Gun holster to his hip.

He is awesome! I like the suit.

Where'd you get the holsters from? They look like real leather!

This IS my NEW favorite Figure From you.
Big thanks for the Idea of using some leather or some vinyl on the beetle piece under his neck.

Now THAT is a cool custom.

Being a trditional Mego kinda guy, I've never much been into the 9-inch stuff but could appreciate it. This may have changed my mind. Everything just pops and works on this. It's exactly how he'd look if he were in the real world. You've got me thinkng movie with this look. I agree with Jason, this is your best work. Outstanding.

This so cool. Really outdone yourself this time T-bolt. This one and your Aquaman really go to the "top shelf". Both of these stand out the most to me. Great work.
