    Mego-ized Batwing from Flash

I saw the 12” scale Batwing and thought it really looked like it belonged in the 1966 world more than the 1989. Mostly it just reminded me of some of the kids ride on toys from the 70s.

Anyway I saw this 12” scale Batwing and thought it would look better as a Mego Batwing. Not a lot to do structurally.
Found these seats on Amazon. Smaller than perfect but not bad

I need to open up some leg room at the front after I mount the seats.

The real question is do them both facing forward like the F14

    or back to back?

Very nice! If it were me, I would likely engineer this to have them both seated facing forward.

Question: You mentioned this plane was “…12” scale…” (as in scaled for 12” figures). But that translates to 1:6 scale and would make the model absolutely enormous.

Jazz inc. Dioramas has created a 1:6 scale 1989 Batwing and I believe it’s got a wingspan of over 5 feet and it costs a few thousand dollars.

Did you perhaps intend to identify this as a “…1:12 scale…” plane (intended for 6” scaled figures)?
I... am an action figure customizer

No it comes with a 12 inch figure who sort of fits in it. It is big but the figure lies down in it. I am still working on the internal layout to get them both sitting forward but it looks like a two man luge arrangement

The original thread with pics of the twelve inch figure flying the plane

Target exclusive. I thought it was a seven inch scale like the Keaton Batmobile. It is huge. Its not. Its twelve inch scale. And big enough to hold two Megos. It needs a chair made. And its only Forty Dollars

I did have someone ask me awhile back why it made me feel like it should be a 1966 vehicle and I couldn’t answer. I was watching an episode and it hit me why. It looks so much like the ending animation. To me anyway.
