I can tell you, though, that short of FTC offering to share their licence with me on this project (after miraculously being allowed to mass produce consumer affordable Batmobiles themselves), the MOST production that this will see is a small run of perhaps a dozen units or so... maybe offered as a kit requiring advanced skill assembly (not sure). But again, even that would be contingent upon finding someone to partner with who has either the ability or contacts to be able to reproduce this. And im sorry to say (just judging by what i have invested thus far from the beginning of this journey back in 2001 up until now as
I finally prepare a viable Prototype that will be ready to show in June in time for MEGO MEET)... this car will not be cheap.I... am an action figure customizerComment

March 17th, 12:39 PM:
The Batmobile's first rubber tire is pulled from the mold that was created from my wooden sculpt master pattern buck.
The casting is absolutely flawless.
Unlike the self-inflating tires that the Batman's Batmobile was equipped with back in 1966, these tires are solid rubber through and through (not hollow), so they will never puncture due to gunfire or explosions. No need for that automatic tire self-inflation device on the car's dashboard I guess! LOL!

I sprayed a light mist of flat black paint on the front hood clip assembly in order to check for flaws in the bodywork (prior to begining the molding and casting process).

The sculpt seems reasonably clean and straight...

The test coat of black primer revealed more problems with the Batmobile's front hood clip sculpt than I anticipated.
Using styrene strip I created a much sharper and straighter "shelf" for the windsheild bubble canopy.

I did some deliberate puttywork under the new windshield shelves to hide all the seams.
