Custom Lone Ranger set.

This all started with a order to CTVT for a complete loose set of the reMego Heroes of the American West with the desire to make my own Lone Ranger set. As others before me, I used Gabriel as a template. The idea was to use all CTVT parts, but that turned out to be too limiting to do some of the characters I wanted to do. So I opened it to included all 1/9th scale compatible. Nor was I happy to just stick to just Gabriel's list of characters. At this time I'm happy to add many pop-culture western characters from comic and screen.

Red & Black Lone Ranger: All CTVT parts.
Red Sleeves: All CTVT parts. Incomplete figure. parts to add, Paco indian shield, CTVT bow and arrow pack. head-band. War-paint.
Tonto: All CTVT parts.
Light Blue Lone Ranger: All CTVT parts except original Mego CHiPs boots.



Buffalo Bill: Paco western shirt. CTVT parts. Cracked gun belt*.
Tex Dawson: Paco western hat, head, gunbelt, pistol and pants. CTVT parts.
Jesse James: Paco western belt, gun-belt w/pistol, and rifle. Plastic flock black cowboy hat purchased from Lonnie. CTVT parts (denim shirt dyed black by me).
Butch Cavendish: All CTVT parts. Not shown; broken black gun belt*.
* Moral of the story: Use hot water/cold water to reshape hard plastic pieces to shape.

fallensavior, I know! I hate to see the old CTVT stuff just disappear. The western stuff most of all.

There have been many great western customs pictured here. Down right 'drool worthy'! I saved many picures to inspire my western set. So please, post your 8 inch scale western customs on this thread.
In the works are:
Danny Reid and El Lobo.
Under consideration are:
Indian Chief, Linda Reid, Old Prospector, Mountain Trapper and Indian Squaw w/papoose.
The list is almost endless, when one considers the cast can come from history, or western pop-culture.

If this a new production piece, it might be made of better material. So happy to see that CTVT is pulling piece back from the dead.
