Thor and Aunt May re-roots

Finished these up today. Thor will be more in line with the modern take on the character and Grandma Walton will become Aunt May.

I don't see it being a problem re-rooting any of the female heads, old or new. I have re-rooted Dorothy from WOZ, Grandma Walton, Dinah Mite, Uhura. I have an ISIS that will be getting a re-root at some point.

Thanks! Did you ever see the plastic "buns" that came with the original Kenner Princess Leia? It's how you got her hair into those side buns. They were like half of a "donut", made out of brown plastic, and you pulled her hair through hole in middle of them and then wrapped it around the "donut" and tucked it up and under, securing it with a rubber band. That's what I did here and I used Instamorph to create the "donut". Took a couple tries to get it right but that is the great thing about Instamorph. You can just keep reheating it and reworking it until you get what you need. And when it cools, it's white so it doesn't show through her bun. I have actually seen a foam version of the same thing for women in the hair care isle at Walgreens. I may go back at some point and make it a bit more round but for now I'm liking the look.

AHA! I thought it was something like that! I see them in the hair care aisle too.

One of Leia's hairstyles that might be more difficult is the braided crown she wore in Empire Strikes back. You'd need a LOT of hair to pull that one off.
