yeah, Sean is at the point were he's not wanting toys in his bedroom much anymore. He's too busy now with XBox and running the neighborhood. Now, a couple Christmases ago...yeah, he'd been all over this thing...now I have to justify the cost to my wife since it is no longer a present and I wasn't about to back out on ya.
Reckon I am gonna have to learn how to make molds and start making customs...show him what he can make..and he can learn something in the process. Time to break out my Mego Meet dvd tutorials...

Wow, that's terrific, to be sure! I wish they had these for us in the 70's.

Man I love the WF idea! I already have a Stately Manor set ordered and I can hardly wait! I have the background peices to the WF, I just would need the display set for them to fit in and the poles. Any idea if any WF accessories are reproduced? Anyway, the 2 sets together would look awesome next to each other. No true Bat-fan could resist!

Great work Scott. The Wayne Foundation stuff is a great choice for the displaysets.

                  Updating my blog today:

Stately Caverns is going very well. The walls are almost all done, that's installing 28 snaps in three walls (15 times) and building the sliding door walls for the library and the support wall for the batpole entrance. The sliding door is the most labor intensive. It involves cutting the plastic track, drilling holes in the exact right location using a template, and then hand cutting the wall parts away from the display box so they can be riveted onto the track. It's a time consuming operation, but it was great to finally get a rhythm going and crank out a bunch of these walls.

The biggest remaining job is to finish the batpole boxes but I just got my new 1/2 inch hole punch so that is underway. I need to assemble the consoles and the batsignal window, and then get everything boxed up for shipping. The whole playset weighs about 19 pounds and it will be packed well.

This is what I'm looking forward to the most, this set will definitely be the highlight of the year for me Megowise. The 19 pounds I'm not so thrilled about tho... shipping is gonna suck big time
                    But dammit, it's worth it

If that means "Send my Frikking Caverns ASAP", I'm on it...

That's very cool, Chad, thanks! You and Thomas have been on the list since almost Day 1! I'll have some updates this week.

I think so. Once I get through this initial rush and get the system down I should be able to deliver them faster. People seem to want them, I have a waiting list and I have some exciting designs on the drawing board.

Right now it's tough. I'm having to pace myself, getting a couple hours a night in after the baby goes to sleep, it's kind of crazy. But having other people do it has not worked so far, so it's my gig.
