    So Fate demands!

Got started on my summer customs this week. Doing a Dr Fate and man, do I like these molded boots and gauntlets from FTC. I wrapped the wrist pegs in duct tape so they would fit tightly in the Type S body. I also had to manufacture some little plastic pegs for the boots and ankles to fit in but all in all not that bad. The yellow paint is not what I wanted thought. All the yellows I've tried take several coats and don't cover that well. I even used a primer. Any suggestions?

I've got several more I'm going on be doing next week hopefully but I have to wait for the 8 inch superstore to open back up. I need about four more Type S bodies.image.jpg

If anybody has about four they'll sell me and put them in the mail today pm me.

If you remember those little yellow things I sent you, the brushes. I just whittled pieces of one down to use as a peg for the ankle.

I used a spare Castaway hand peg for the boot connector and it worked well. I think I had to drill out the hole in the castaway leg a little to get it to fit, but it works.

The best way to get yellow to cover is over white. Paint or prime everything white first and the yellow will cover better.
