Space 1999: ctvt clothes vs DM bodies?

Working on some Space 1999 customs and want to use DM bodies, but unsure if ctvt Space clothes, boots, etc. will fit as I've been told the struggle is real when it comes to DM bodies & ctvt clothes. Anyone have experience here? Specifically, would DM's swivel arm buff body or standard male caucasian mego-style work best? Any issues w/DM's new female body in ctvt clothes? Any advice is appreciated!

I don't own any of the swivel arm/buff bodies of DM, but I know for sure they will fit on standard bodies, there shouldn't be any struggle at all. For example, I know I switched clothes off a toy biz famous covers female and put a ctvt space 1999 Raan outfit on her and it went on with no problem. At first i was worried about her feet being to big for the boots, but It wasn't a problem. But then Raan's outfit is made for a standard male figure body. I didn't use a female outfit on her, considering the fact that her body is larger and longer than a standard mego body.

      Thanks for the input guys!

@megoknight - Yes! I'd forgotten the Space '99 guys had Trek lower legs, thank you for the reminder. I had planned to pick up some ctvt white 'motorcycle' boots (which look like cropped Chips boots? Idk) and white Invisible Woman boots, so hopefully those will fit the DM bodies.

@deeT - Sounds promising. I may go with the standard mego-type DM body to be on the safe side then, even tho the swivel buff body is on sale rn.

I don't own any DM swivel-arm buff bodies (other than my Flash Gordon who is still on card & boxed away somewhere atm) so I'm not sure, but it looks as though the only difference proportionally from the standard mego-type DM male body is the bicep size...Can anyone confirm? Because that bicep swivel is attractive, but I don't really need a Prof Bergman w/a 'buff' body or one more muscular than say Alan Carter lol

the swivel arm bicep is slightly wider than the regular doc mego bicep if you look from the front but from the side they look the same

I just saw this. It's been awhile but I used standard Doc Mego bodies for SPACE:1999 customs with no problems.

Thanks guys, I'll place my order for Doc's standard mego-type bods then, and maybe a couple swivel bicep buff bods to test em out for my security guys lol - I'll let you know how it goes when I get everything cobbled together!
