Flocked Chewbacca

First off,Thanks to MegoKnight for his Awesome flocking thread.

I have been wanting to do a Chewbacca custom for years and finally got started on one a few months ago.


The problem was though, i wanted a completely fur covered Chewbacca, head, hands, feet and body.

The head was the main problem and I tried a couple different ways to add fur to the head and i wasn't happy with
how they were looking so the Chewbacca custom got put on hold.

Enter MegoKnight and his flocking thread. At first i thought i would have to try that on some Apes sometime,
then it dawned on me that this may be the answer i have been looking for with Chewbacca.

So i ordered some flock and the "poofer" and gave it a try on one of my Chewbacca heads tonight.

I really like how this first "trial" head is looking. I have some more playing around to do yet and will probably go with a lighter
brown flock and maybe a mixture of colors and probably a different version of this head that i have

But i think this IS the solution to the problem, i have been looking for.

Did some quick feet poofing with a different color. I think this is the color.

Glad that worked for you. The Brown flock is better by far. I got the black, brown, and rust flock. Even Han Solo wouldn't try flocking a Wookie. Great Job!

Thanks everyone. I bought the 3 colors too and the first trial was the brown. I re-flocked over the first flock which will give a bushier look and I mixed the brown and rust color to get a lighter multicolor look which I like a lot better than just the brown alone.

Now I have to finish some "accessories" and decide how I want to do a couple other things but the Major problem and holdup on him has been solved. Thanks Again to MegoKnight for switching the lightbulb on.
