The helmet is stunning.

Regarding the jacket, can't it be improved substantially by re-setting the collar? Tohiro had a detailed thread here about doing just that.

Seeing all this makes me want to give these a chance, if I can invest on members' modifications--I do love classic BSG.

The're better than most of the boots in that scale that are on the market.

Thank you, right now I only have the one left boot which still needs a little tweaking, when I get that how I want it then i'll do the right one, so it will be a little while yet before I have these done.

Plus I still have the helmet to finish.

for the capes...take an Adama cape off and look how they did it. The ribbon is unattached to the cloth in the front so the head fits through it. I think I'll use a micro suede.

I don't have an Adama yet because I couldn't get past the big noggins on them when they first came out. But since that problem can be fixed I will get him eventually.

Right now i'am just going to go with the basic pilot look for Starbuck and Apollo.

I think micro suede would be a good choice for the cape though, I think that's what the jacket is made of.

I was going to try dying the jackets just a bit darker and a gold trim for the chest/shirt area. Also want to make their "dress" capes.
I'll want some boots when you're done sir.

The jackets could be a bit darker but I'm going to leave mine the color they are I think. The dress capes "version" will be a cool look.

Thanks everyone, I have a little fine tuning to do on the helmet yet but got distracted for a bit on something else I wanted to do to this custom.

Now to work on that godawful uniform! It looked TERRIBLE!

I think the basic uniform is alright. I'am going to make a few little changes and change the body to a Type-S. It has less upper arm bulk and I'm hoping the jacket will fit better on that body.

The other change I got started on is some new Mego style BSG pilot boots. I want to make a few small changes to those yet but this gives a basic idea what they will look like.
