Red leather boot

My aunt sent me some scraps of leather a couple of years ago in various colors. This morning I finally got around to seeing what I could do with it. Here's my first crack at a 2 piece leather Superman boot. The leg portion is removable. It's still rough, but not bad for my first crack at this. The red pin is temporary to hold things in place for now.

That is what Neca does with the new figures. (Ash's foot does not have a removable shoe. His foot is the shoe attached with the peg.

you should cast the foot/boot and sell them in all different colors
this would also be great for the doc mego large hulk body

^^Castaway use to sell those China made foot/boot feet in a few colors. They were too big(high platform) for my taste but I like how Boss and Cap Mego make boot feet.

I'm going to try to cast some in color soon (for my own customs). The boot foot will be cast in red. My plan is to then cast the bottom part of the lower leg in red and the top part of the lower leg (same piece) in flesh color. I could probably do the whole part in red, but my fear is that the red will bleed through the fabric above the boot line.
