    Birdman Custom

    image.jpg
The third of several customs I've been working on this week. Biiiirdman! I really liked the old Hanna Barbera show and thought I'd give it the Mego treatment. This paint was really hard to do. The yellow required several coats to not look wavy. I used a red paint pen for the symbol on his head because it sticks up from the head. More to come next week from Hanna Barbera. I'll give you a hint. He's got a robotic doggy sidekick. I've really enjoyed working on all these this week. I haven't done any since about this time last year and man, I forgot how fun this is.

Got the bodysuit in from CTVT and gauntlets too. I used gauntlets on the legs also, I just took a hobby knife and slit them down the back. These CTVT body suits are really tight on type S bodies. I could barely get it on.

Have you considered washing the bodysuit, and allowing it to dry on the body. This could shrink the sleeves and stretch the legs and body. In the end, you may only need add/replace a snap.
