Wasp wings

I'm working on some Wasp wings for a customer. I'm pretty happy with how they are coming.

They look better in person than in this picture. I'm going to try and paint the veins blue so they pop out more.

Wicked! How do they attach?

I made a small connector with a peg to hold the wings:



The hole fit over the peg inside the ZICA Yvonne chest piece. I then just cut through her back a little bit to let the peg stick out:



The wings then have a bracket system that allow then in three different positions (angled-up, to the side, or angled down).



I'm really happy with how solid it feels. The wings stay on tight, but can be removed pretty easily to re-position (or put into the packaging.)
