    Twiki Teaser

I've been wanting to make a custom Mego Twiki from Buck Rogers, but couldn't decide on how to do it. Originally, I was going to use a 5" child body with a cloth suit. It wasn't working out for me, so I decided give a nod to the 12" Mego walking Twiki and make a hard plastic version.

I 3D modeled a robot figure using LightWave. I then had the model printed on a 3D printer. It's constructed so that the shoulders, head and legs move. Dr. Theopolis will be removable. I've still got a little more tweaking to do, along with painting it silver, but it's on its way. I'll post pics when I finish it up.

Wow, this is fantastic. I have been wanting to do this for years. Thought about 3D scanning a 12" Twiki and then rescalling and printing it on a 3S printer.
But your work is outstanding. Will copies be available for sale?
I'd definitely be in for one.
How about doing a classic BSG Muffit the same way?

^^ Agreed. You should definitely sell a few of these. You already did the hard part, right?

Don't you mean "Twik-ing"? sorry, bad pun.

This looks positively delightful! I'd be interested in a copy if you decide to offer them. Keep up the great work!

Looking at that I think the 3 & 3/4 version has a less round-less moon face-head Mike. I'll have to see if I can find mine tho to take a pic.
