    Lando Calrissian!

    Having gotten the customizing bug back after getting Dane's killer Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight figure, I'm chomping at the bit to add more customs to the fold. The first up is everyone's favorite scoundrel Lando Calrissian. I got the head from DaveMc as one of his goofs (whatever dude, you rock!) then I went to the painting tutorial here at the Museum and Wah Lah! my first head paint that I'm really proud of. I need to retouch the right eye and paint his lips but I'm really happy with how this is going. I will be working on a handmade costume in the coming weeks and flushing him out with either Doc or CTVT repro accessories for the belt and watch/ communicator thing. I will most likely sculpt out a gun and use Star Trek boot lower legs and a brown body. I will also be getting with the cardback master the Toyroom to get one of his sweet Empire cards and bubbles. I know he's no perfect but I am indeed pleased with this journey in painting.



    Also coing in 2013 (thanks to DaveMc) will be Doc and Wyatt from Tombstone.

          He's looking great, can't wait to see the final outcome. What can you tell me about the skullls in the background on the dvd player.

                      Those are for a separate project... working up some fun stuff for 2013 for our pal SecretSquirrel aka Gar the Ghoul for his Horrible Horror show on Blog TV.

                              DANG!!! Somebody else remembered that commercial! I was gonna use that... Oh well. Now's all I got left is to say... Cool paint job Jim. I think you really hit a good combination of Billy D. and the Mego Style!!!
