Looks great!!!! You are making me want one.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Thanks everyone. I'm really happy with the him.
He is my first deviation in costume color and original design.
Sculpting these heads and researching the costume designs, I found that I would get sick of Green and Purple really fast. Going with Grey and Brown in a superhero tights design, helped me pull the original Ditko design, into his second. Besides, Grey and Brown are far more octopus colors anyway.
I should know, I only live in the Pacific Northwest because I'm growing an army of giant-octopi. Did I say that out loud?* Good thing I never mentioned about them being 'Atomic Flying Octopi'.
*Anyone concern with genetic terrorism is advised not to be concern by this post. 'dr_cyclops' promises way more than he can deliver. lol

^^^ Yeah, for the most part Spidey's Rogues are green and some other color. Kraven and the Chameleon are two of the nonconformists from the Ditko era.

Not just Spidey's villains, FF, Avengers, etc. Early Marvel was way too much into the Green and Purple when it came to villains. Heroes were primary colors and villains were secondary colors. lol.
I'm going with alternative colors whenever possible. Doc here, is just the first.

I'm going this route when I get to Doc

I like the tentacle controls on the outside look.

This custom design went through some changes as it developed. Originally I was considering using a restrung CTVT fatman body. Didn't like Doc shorter than the Vulture. Purchased Mego Wizard body off ebay. Considered different tentacle-arms, and decided on using original FC tentacle.
After choosing to ditch the FC belt attachment, came the design of how to attach the tentacles through the bodysuit and into the body. 1/4 inch silver eyelets were too small for the FC tentacle plug to fit. Used 1/4 inch eyelets and traced on body to mark drill holes, and sanded tentacle plugs to fit.

Custom cast and painted "Professor Squid" head.
                    bleit1701: Grey fatman bodysuit.
DrMego: Black Knight collar cast in brown, brown flair gloves, short brown pirate boots with the top cut off.
                    Famous Covers: Tentacles.
                    Mego: Wizard of OZ body.
