if you are using water based paints, thin them out and do several thinner coats instead of one straight from the bottle coat.

The Bolt is correct. Applying several thin coats will get you the results you're after. The white body does take paint pretty well, but be sure to matte seal it. Acrylic will chip off very, very easily.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Thanks for the advice guys, I started with Acrylic so should I remove it and start from scratch, and if so what should I use to remove the Acrylic paint?

I love that head. If someone is selling it I will buy it. I'm unhappy with the one I have on my Kingpin.

If you want to get technical and like swapping body parts. Get a hold of that Venture brother's Brock EMCE figure and beef up the legs with some sculpty and with the shoes that are already on the body you don't have to use the big clown shoes to fit over the Hulk body's enormous feet. Well, that's what I've been doing. Those Venture Brother figures (never seen the show) have been great for cannon fodder and extras to make super hero customs look better.
