The Phantom and Skull chair 1/6

    Hi All

I have started on my 1/6 Phantom and decided that he need to have his chair as well. The chair is being made from high denisty foam and small quanity of thin styrofoam, I still haven't decided if I want to make my own skulls of buy some for the chair.

The Phantom has a Hottoys Indiana Jones body as I wanted him to me be more slimmer but still toned like Billy Zane. The boots are frpm Dragon and the head I picked up from ebay, the tights are from triad toys and I had an old suit from them and used that to make the head section.

The mask is made using soem left over leather, I'm waiting for more leather to turn up so I can make the belt and holster. Enjoy and hope you like it so far.

      Hi All

Charlton Fan - thanks for reply and have a little update of the rings. I decided to give him to skull rings and they were done using plasticard and by cutting small plastic skulls from some Games Workshop figures.

            Hi All

I have done a little more to both The Phantom and the chair.

Pic 1 - The Phantom's outfit was given lighter purple drybrush to show a little more muscle definition.

Pic 2,3 & 4 - I finally found some skulls at a local gift shop and picked up a few skull heads that were perfect for what I wanted.

The heads look like they are made from resin and had flames scribed into them so after attaching them to the chair I started using a mix of plaster of paris and PVA glue and covered the chair and skulls.

I haven't completed the chair as of yet as I'm deciding if I want to go darker or lighter and also I'm thinking of adding fur/leather to the sit so the Phantom's bum doesn't get soar.

That dry brush work looks great!

It must be nice living in a country that actually appreciates The Phantom. The character just can't seem to rise above cult status here.

great work on the chair, a fur (maybe Tiger?) would really look good on the chair.
