sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
Gotta ask… Are you going to try to find black gloves or swap out for black hands? For a Mego scale knife, I used the cut-out popsicle stick method for my Michael Myers. Get a POTA knife, lay it on popsicle stick, trace it out, adjust traced shape to kitchen knife style, and use exacto knife to cut it out, then paint. Works like a charm! Can't take credit, another member gave me the original idea.
Yes, looking for some black gloved hands , as far as a knife goes, i have to give my mom credit on it shes pretty talented with a cricut(?) Not sure on spelling

Looks nice!! Can't wait to see it when you're done.
I'm afraid if you used an original General Ape's knife to custom it will ruining it. An original Ape knife is the toughest to find, use repro one from Dr. Mego's Repros is safer for your custom.
I have a pair of Mego Chips black hands for your custom, one right hand has a slight melt mark on the top but looks pretty good. If you wanted them, It's FREE. Send PM me with your mailing address.

Apologies for confusion… I didn't mean to actually modify or use "original" POTA knife, simply use it for proper scale as a template to trace around. To create my knife for Michael Myers, I laid POTA knife on popsicle stick, traced around it with pencil (then put original knife back with Gen. Urko), then modified my pencil line to more of a kitchen knife shape and cut out that shape from popsicle stick. Hope that makes sense…
