I am working on a Golden Age Wonder Woman and I have a very specific problem. The original outfit had a very low cut back. I have tried a couple of different tops, both high back and low back, but they all have the same problem: the front slips down and she falls out of the top. I also had the same problem with a Brian Leitner Black Canary outfit, but I sewed a couple straps which were hidden beneath the jacket. With Wonder Woman, I don't have this option. So the question is, how do you other customizers make a strapless top stay up where they should?

Try clear elastic.
That's what was used for the original Swimsuit Barbie back in 1959.
It was a black and white strapless one piece that had clear elastic straps that went over the shoulders.
Otherwise, it wouldn't have stayed in place, and they never would have been able to sell the doll.
Use a very narrow width, like 1/4" wide. It's what's used in swimsuits.JediJaidaComment

Sew the back of WW outfit tighter...the tighter in the back the less booba spillage.....That's what I did with two WW customs I did....Comment

You could also try sewing "darts" into the top so it molds more around her body or maybe a small piece of double sided tape to hold it in place? Just a thought (or two!) Good luck!Comment
