Solomun Grundy

I made one of these back in the late 80's - he came out really awesome. some where in the 90's I need some money so I sold him on e bay :(


I remember him being fairly easy - so time to get him back in the collection
Being that I'm just re-starting getting into the hobby - I took on an easy project not to overwhelm my self.

Not much to see here at the moment - i'm starting off with a normal mego hulk.

i will paint his arms white - and then i will attach them to a doc mego or a ctv white body.

i'll up date you once the paint dries

Doc Mego has a new improved Hulk body, check out his website to see it.Its way better than mego Hulk, and they were only 5 bucks when I ordered a couple.

Yea, I'm doing a Solomun Grundy and I got a new Doc Mego Hulk body - a white one so no need to paint limbs. Just need to do some sewing to finish him.

I also have a few of those - But I plan on using it as a more complex grundy. (waiting on a head from austin for that one)

The one i'm working on now will be much more simple then the one i make with the new doc body.

one other reason I'm going with the original mego body is because the suit I plan on using is from the mad monster series, and I do not believe it will fit docs body.

plus i have not had any luck finding boots for the docs body.
does any one have any ideas what boots will fit the docs hulk body?

also I should have been more descriptive (sorry my first time using this post)

I plan on taking the hulks arms and replacing the arms of a white ctv or doc mego type 2 body. so the torso will be normal size but he will have large arms. This way the frankinstein suit will fit, and I can use boots on his feet.

I'm going more for the super friends look this time around.

Ok - just gave his arms a 2nd coat this morning.

nice and sunny out today - he should be nice and dry in another few hours.

Then just need to attach the hulk arms to the white doc mego type 2 body.
dress him, pop his head on and he should be done.

I will post the pictures when he is finished.
