Normally besides music, I'm a comic book junkie and have been making super hero Mego customs since the dawn of time but it wasn't until someone stuck a C3P0 and Darth Vader Pez head in my hand and said, "These are about the size of Mego dolls heads. I would give you two-hundred bucks if you made me up a couple of them."

All kidding aside, I didn't think he was serious but when all the Retro action and EMCE stuff hit stores and went down to discount prizes I decided "cannon fodder" and made the two Megos and as he promised he gave me the money. Though I told him I was not going to take that much because he was a friend...etc.

When I made the Vader and C3P0 I made two of each because I wanted one for my collection for fun and then about a year later I have been finding Pez heads and resculpting them and adding more Star Wars figures to my 8" collection.

Someone said Mego really ****ed up when Star Wars only got a 12 inch size. They would have been rich if they did the 8 inch figures.

Well, I am for sure not no Captain Mego but I keep making Star Wars figures and I think I'm going to stop because I'm running out of room for super hero figures and I don't think I can take on another line of characters.

All of these are works in progress, that's why I'm here.

Very cool customs, I've been using Star Wars Pez heads for Star Wars customs myself. The characters that wear helmets seem to be the best scale wise, like the Stormtroopers, Vader and Boba Fett.

You can't stop now! You still have lots of Star Wars figures to make. I like seeing the pictures of your Star War customs.

I can never for the life of me figure out why a major toy company would not have seized the opportunity to make an 8" line of figures. I mean hell, Why not? They have made 2", 9", 12", 6" , 3.75" pretty much everything but 8". Is that ate up or what?

Someone out there must have a personal vendetta with not making 8" figures. Maybe when they were a kid someone hit them with one and they have never liked that size ever since. It really is mind boggling. There is no way anyone could tell me that they would not sell well.

Ohh well thank goodness for people that customize Had it not been for those talented people devoting their time and efforts we may have never seen a lot of great stuff that should have been made to begin with.

Thank you! I'm stuck! There used to be a guy who had a really cool Luke SkyWalker and Han Solo but I think he has me on block and won't talk to me. (I even sent him a sorry letter but I guess some people don't want to hear it even if it was a mistake.)

But anyway, I would love to know who casted these heads. I have a couple of Storm Trooper Pez and and Boba Fett ready for the next figures.

But still can't find who had the cool looking Luke Skywalker and Han Solo rezin copy Mego-like heads I need!!

Yes sir. Because Luke is 80 percent done he is hiding behind his sister Leia.

I'm currently working on an x-Wing Pilot Luke and a Jedi Master Luke. I figured if I covered two Luke Skywalkers I would be happy.
I still need an R2D2 really, really bad. That piece of **** that you see is something I bought from a Christmas store. I cute off the christmas packages.
R2D2 is way bigger. Someone suggested some Soy Sauce container that was in Japan. No way, I never deal with over seas stuff. I have been burned bad!
I may have to try and find something that is about his size and customize him. Putting my sculpting work to the test. If you have any ideas please let me know.
