Hi guys, my first post here. I recently got into Mego after scoring an old Mego Spidey on Ebay.
Now I used to collect Gijoes and Transformers but for personal reasons (money) decided to sell my collection. It was getting to expensive plus taking to much space.
I grew up in the 80's so I never had any Mego's as a kid. I did however received Toyfare as a teenager so I was introduced to Megos by Twisted Mego Theather. I always been fascinated by comic books since early age. Whole reason I got into art school was to become a comic book artist (still trying to get there)
Of course I loved Silver Age comics books and especially loved the retro feel this figures have so I got my stuff from Dr.Mego to finally create my own Silver Age Batman.
I resculpted the old Batman head I score from Ebay since I thought the original look a little goofy.
I'm still waiting on the Batman emblem sticker, the gloves and the boots..
I'm gonna try to make a longer cape but still I like how is turning out.
On and yeah I'm addicted to Mego now. Is fun and cheaper as well.
