I am just adding some more updated pictures here.

I picked up some dowel rod today and I am going to be working on making my own custom goal posts. I plan on making them more to scale than those that have been shown in previous pictures.

Will the wide receiver catch it and make a run for day light? Will he miss it or fumble it? Looks like you will just have to tune in for the next segment to find out.


I am starting to get some good ideas flowing regarding bulding the actual stadium. As always there is still lots to do and lots more to come.

Ohh yeah and a couple of other things....

My color laser jet ran out of Magneta that is why the crowd background and graphics was printed in half tone on my B&W laser printer. I need to pick up a new toner for the color laser. Color makes everything look much better.

I am not at all happy with the goal posts. They are way to friggin small for Mego scale, but they will do for now as stand in until I can make my own custom posts.

I do not consider it cheating. I like to think of it more as a short cut for now. It's getting there. Small baby steps. I will eventually have a lot more Mego people in the stands and not just printed backgrounds.

I already have lots of figures...it is just placing them all around the stadium will be the challenge. Especially seeing how the stadium is no where near done yet by any means. I do not want to place a lot of unnecessary stuff in the way at this point while it is still under construction. Besides, I need some bleacher seats or folding chairs to sit them on.

Hey, You just never know. I have been tinkering around with the idea of sponsorship banners and what not. Just like the pro bowl.

It would be really cool to have actual games for people to watch to.

Since the Mego Museum awards are named after Neal Kublan (the Kubby Awards) why not name the team the Kubby Warriors?

I also need a catchy name for the football stadium. I am figuring (no pun intended) on naming it after The Mego Museum in some form or way. After all it will eventually have a Mego Museum football team.
