Bane: Work in progress

Hey all. I haven't been here in awhile. Missed a bunch of you (but most of us have kept in touch on Facebook and the telephone...etc.) Anyway, I was asked what I was up to as the Mego custom thing, so I will post one of the customs I'm working on.



Bane: working in progress. The head sculpt is mine along with the pants and the body work. The body comes from Dr. Mego and stand 8 inches tall. The fancy venom hoses come from a series of cables and wires I took from a ghostbusters set of figures and redid them to look like feeding tubes. I still have to complete a top tank top and a arms bands and he'll be completed.

Update:
I managed to get the leather custom boots to fit over the big feet and I cut and fit a leather tank top to stretch over and fit the chest piece.
I have a long ways to go but this is what I got so far.



Tomorrow I'm working on his metal belt and finishing up the paint job on his skin with the various veins.

Thanks fellas. I appreciate all comments! Those little things help a guy out when he is sometimes borderline frustrated with his work. I'm testing out new cameras this weekend. Hoping to find one that will do the job I need to get good shots. Sorry for the bad hazy pictures, it's the only camera I have for the moment.
