No body else mentioned this so I'll just point it out. On the after pic. It looks like the the eye ("s) might have a little Clear paint coat to give a shine or wet look to the eye surface. I've seen this done on larger paint jobs. On a Mego it looks super!. I have used the Folk art acrylic before and remember them not having too much gloss. If a thin over coat was added. I gotta say it is a great touch!!!

I swear by folk art they are nice to use.Wet looking eyes are a fantastic touch I do the same thing with a gloss finish on the eyes as well.

Thanks! Yep, the eyes and mouth were glossed. I also wanted to recreate the actual makeup look, so the lower teeth (Lou's) are whiter than the yellowish upper false teeth...just like on the show.
