Sorry , but when Shellhead showed me HIS Wonder Woman I KNEW
that I was going to have to rejoin the MEGO collecting world if only
to do terrible things to her - namely using her to create one of my
favorite music babes .
Yeah , I'm WAAAAAY too old to be listening to Katy Perry , let alone
start work on creating a tiny action girl version of her . . . I blame it
on my years as a penciller on AC Comics' " Femforce " .
At this point I have merely restyled her hair , which I gotta throw out
some kudos to the folks at Mattel - the nice thick root job was adequate
enough that changing her from a center line part to a left part was actually
really simple ; and gather together her costuming from some BRATZ dolls
and shoes from Barbie Basics . I'll be doing a repaint on her face , just to
give her a bit more of that classic " Katy " look .
Usually when it comes to ruining a perfectly good action figure I stick to the
realm of 1/6 ( all my MEGOS are practically untouched , except for my POTA
gorillas ) . The new Wonder Woman however was enough of a great base
figure to work with that now I'm sorry I did not order more .
